Job Description
Emerald Health Services is hiring a Travel – OR Tech – OB

Shift/Hours: Nights / 7p-7:30a, 12×3, 36 hrs per week
Length: 13 weeks

Requirements: 
  • 1 Year of experience
  • Must have OB Scrub Tech experience
  • must have completed a surg tech program-certification is NOT required 
  • EPIC role: Scrub
  • BLS
OB Surgical Technologist  for the L&D ORs. 

Role: Surgical techs in the scrub role are the first to scrub in for a procedure and assist the remaining team members with gowning. During the surgery, scrub technicians provide suction and retraction as directed, and hand the surgeon any necessary instruments, sponges and other items.

Perform proficiently in scrub role for routine and specialty procedures.
Ability to function as a member of the operating room team under stressful situations.
Proficient handling of equipment and instruments.
High level of organization and planning for surgical procedures.
High level of flexibility to adapt to changes in procedures.
High level of flexibility to adapt to changes in delegated duties.
Ability to teach skills in intraoperative setting.
